About =====
My name is Kővári Zoltán. For increased compatibility, you have my permission to use the name with given name back to front in the asciified version Zoltaan Koevaari, or just simply as Zoltan Kovari.
I was born in Hungary in 1987, and reside in Sopron.
I am qualified as a business information technologist, having received my BSc. degree in 2011, and MSc. in 2016.
I am an application developer, researcher, and IT engineer working as a freelance contractor at this time. Full CV is available upon request.
Primarily, I am a Rust/C software and firmware programmer, having additional background working on systems in JavaSE, C++ and SQL as well.
I also have professional experience in microelectronics engineering and FPGA design work, without formal qualifications in these fields. It started with various sensors and interfaces for the PIC microcontroller and Raspberry Pi, then explored PCB design and manufacturing. I have a soft spot for the 6502.
I am a home shop machinist as well, preferring manual but have been acquainted with CAM and CNC too. I know my way around all sorts of CAD packages, and enjoy figuring out mechanical engineering problems, though strictly on an amateur level.
Other spare time interests of mine include modelmaking, plastic moulding, tabletop miniature wargames, board games, role playing games, computer games, computer graphics, photography, astronomy, and science fiction in general...
